Corneal and anterior chamber morphology in patients with nonınfectious ıntraocular ınflammation

ABSTRACT Purpose: To evaluate the corneal and anterior chamber morphology in phakic eyes with noninfectious intraocular inflammation. Methods: This study included 59 active uveitis, 62 inactive 95 healthy eyes. Corneal endothelial cell density, hexagonal ratio, coefficient of variation (CV), thickness volume, maximum keratometry, volume depth (ACD) measurements were performed using a specular microscope Pentacam HR. Results: The mean duration uveitis was 24.6 ± 40.5 (0-180) months. number attacks 2.8 3.0 (1-20). Coefficient significantly higher group compared (p=0.017, Post Hoc Tukey). Anterior segment parameters other than not different between active/inactive control groups (p>0.05). Multiple linear regression analysis showed that greater after adjusting for type having rheumatologic disease, immunosuppressive treatment (p=0.003). correlated ocular (p>0.05, Spearman’s correlation). difference significant based on Conclusions: whereas density did differ groups.
